In this section, you will enter your high school, corresponding dates of attendance, grade scale, and a default course length option. If you attended more than one high school, please list them all.
Add a High School
- To add a high school, navigate to the Enter High School(s) page.
- Under the section labeled High School/Secondary School Graduation Year, please confirm that you have entered the correct high school graduation month and year.
Helpful Tip: This should be the month and year you expect to graduate from high school. - Click Add School.
- The SRAR Lookup popup will appear. Before entering your school name or CEEB code, confirm that the correct Country and State are selected.
Helpful Tip: If you do not have the correct Country and State selected, your school will not appear in the search results. - Enter part of your school name to search. For example, if your school is Susan E. Wagner High School, enter 'Wagner' and click Search. If your school does not appear in the search results, try entering another part of your school name (e.g., Susan).
Helpful Hint: If your school name still does not appear in the search results, you can search through a list of All Schools in our database. Select the Country and State, but leave the School Name field blank. Click Search. A list of schools will appear. Scroll to the bottom of the page to filter by letter. Please note that each letter may have multiple pages. - You can also search for your school by CEEB Code. If you know your school's CEEB Code enter it in the field and click Search.
Helpful Hint: If you do not know your school's CEEB Code, please use the College Board K-12 School Code Search to look up your school's CEEB Code. - Select the school which you have attended from the search results (after reviewing the School Address) and click Select.
- Your High School will now appear under the Enter High School(s) screen in the section labeled High School(s) attended.
Enter Dates of Attendance
Be sure to confirm the dates of attendance for each school. The system generates the academic years for course entries based on the dates of attendance listed.
- For each school attended, you must enter the Dates of Attendance in the mm/yyyy format.
Helpful Hint: If you started school in September of 2018, you would enter '09/2018' as the 'From Date'. If you had any breaks in attendance at this school, enter the dates as if there were no attendance gaps. - Enter the From Date: This is the month and year you first started attending this school.
- Enter the To Date: This is the month and year you expect to graduate from OR you last attended this school.
Select a Grade Scale
For each school attended, you will select a Grade Scale. Please review the Grade Scale options below. Select the Grade Scale that accurately represents your transcript.
- Letter Grades
Typically presented as 'A+', 'A', 'A-', 'B+', 'B', 'B-', and so forth.') - Number Grades
Number grades are typically based on a whole-number scale from 0 to 100. If your school uses numbers with decimals (i.e., 89.5), select 'Other'.') - Letters and Numbers
Choose this option if your school uses a combination of letters and numbers in its grading system.') - Other
Select this option if this school uses a non-standard or international grading system (i.e., Pass/Fail) or if your school uses numeric grades with decimals (i.e., 89.5).')

This option is intended to help students record courses quicker. If you choose an option from the drop-down list, your Course Length field on the Enter Coursework screen will be pre-filled. When entering your coursework, you can change the Course Length field as needed.
Add Another High School
To repeat the process to add more than one high school, select Add Another School. Be sure to confirm the dates of attendance for each school. The system generates the academic years for course entries based on the dates of attendance listed.
